On March 16, 2017 the UMGSA held a 2-hour forum for hopeful candidates to field questions from U of M graduate students.
The first hour of the forum was allocated for each candidate to tell the audience a little about themselves, what position they are running for, why they are running, and what they will do if elected. Subsequently, the final hour of the forum was allocated for each of the candidates to field questions from the audience. The questions focused on U of M and UMGSA funding allocations, promoting U of M graduate student work, and services that will be provided to graduate students.
UMFM provided an audio stream of the forum. This was an illuminating discussion that will be valuable for deciding who to vote for in this years UMGSA election!
